چکیده
The adsorption of Co(II) from the simulated solution was investigated using zeolite NaX derived rice husk ash as an alternative adsorbent. behavior depended strongly on equilibrium pH, Co (II) concentration, dosage, and reaction time. high efficiency by obtained under conditions: pH 3.0, 100 mg/L Co(II), 5 g/L NaX, a time 75 min. loading onto well-fitted to Freundlich isotherm capacity around 38 mg/g. results indicate that synthesized is potential adsorbent remove cobalt waste solutions due its adsorption.

Carmine Adsorption from Aqueous Solution by Crosslinked Peanut Husk
To observe the feasibility of the removal of carmine, peanut husk, an agriculture by-product, was crosslinked with epichlorohydrin in alkaline medium and used for adsorption of carmine from aqueous solution. Batch experiments were carried out to study the effects of various parameters such as initial pH, contact time, adsorbent dosage and initial carmine concentration, as ...
متن کاملAdsorption of Acetone Vapors by SBA-16 and MCM-48 Synthesized from Rice Husk Ash
Silica was extracted from agriculture waste rice husk ash (RHA) and was used as the silica source for synthesis of RMCM-48 and RSBA-16. An alkali fusion process was utilized to separate silicate supernatant and the sediment effectively. The CTAB/Si and F127/Si molar ratio was employed to control the structure properties of the obtained RMCM-48 and RSBA-16 materials. The N2 adsorption-desorption...
متن کاملAdsorption of Cu(II) from Aqueous Solution on Fly Ash Based Linde F (K) Zeolite
The work focuses on the removing of Cu(II) from aqueous solution by Linde F(K) zeolite. The zeolite is synthesized from fly ash by hydrothermal process. The adsorption experiments discuss several factors including the optimal solution pH, zeolite dosage, adsorption temperature, adsorption kinetics and adsorption isotherm equation. The results show that, the optima...
متن کاملBiosorption of Fe(II) and Mn(II) Ions from Aqueous Solution by Rice Husk Ash
Rice husk ash (RHA), an agricultural waste, was used as biosorbent for the removal of Iron(II) and Manganese(II) ions from aqueous solutions. The structural and morphological characteristics of RHA and its elemental compositions before and after adsorption of Fe(II) and Mn(II) were determined by scanning electron microscopic (SEM) and X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analyses. Batch experiments were ca...
